Why Myanmar

Myanmar was a dictatorship for over 27 years, and is again since February 2021, under the leadership of Min Aul H Liang, the commander-in-chief of the union of Myanmar. This man had promised elections, which still have not taken place, and security, despite the thousands imprisoned and hundreds of deaths, not to mention the villages burned down.

In collaboration with the Miroir foundation, we hope to win back and re-engage the international community in this cause very dear to us and to the people who are there. As citizens of the world, let's do our part to help those who need it most, so that they too have a chance to make their dreams come true.

On February 18, 2021, more than 1,100 people were killed,

and 8,000 arrests, according to a local NGO. Prisoners' Assistance Association  policies  (AAPP) account  up to  7,300 people still in detention.

In December 2021, more than 1,300 people are said to have been killed, The Association  assistance to political prisoners (AAPP) even denounces cases of torture and executions  extrajudicial .

"I had the chance to visit this beautiful country when I lived in Singapore. Myanmar is a beautiful country with generous and empathetic people. It is one of the most beautiful cultures and one of the most beautiful people that I have ever met. The Burmese people are people who have suffered, and are still suffering. The lack of empathy, help and international recognition saddens me and I hope you understand the importance of helping these people."
