Myanmar is a country in Southeast Asia.

The most common languages are Burmese, Kayah, Karen, Kachin, Lun and Shan.  This country is officially called  The Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

Religion

The  Republic of the Union of Myanmar has several religions, including Buddhism (87.9%), Christianity (6.2%), and Islam (4.3%) We can indeed notice that Buddhism is the main religion of Myanmar.

Geography

The capital of this country is Naypyidaw, and the largest city is Yangon, also known as Rangoon. Myanmar covers a total area of 676,578 km2.

Currency and Population

The currency used is the Kyat (MMK), ( $ 5 CAD = 7,050 MMK , 5 $ USD = 8,862.29 MMK )

Myanmar has a population of over 53,582,855.
